  1. The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

Posted by Tom on Oct 2nd 2017

First ride in the dirt. My expectation was to ride about 5 miles as a break in and ended up going for 15. Loved the dropper seat, the suspension, the control, and comfort. I ride all mountain in So. Cal. and found the tires not up to the type of grip I need for the steep up and down hills I ride. Will be swapping them out this week. I was tentative at the start of my ride and was super aggressive by the end except where tire grip was needed. Have have had a Macina Force 29 that I have had for a year and the Macina Lycan was definitely a significant upgrade. Very happy with this purchase.
